Yesterday, Ben and I took Lexi and Whitney to a dentist here in Merida, Mexico. This was one of a couple of firsts. First visit to a dentist for Whitney and first visit to a dentist in Mexico for everybody.

I enticed Ben into coming along with promises of interesting photo-ops at a Mexican dentist office. Although, I wasn’t really sure whether, or not, they’d allow photos to be taken during the examines. It’s not like airport security,  but then again, I remember the hospital where i delivered the babies had a ban on video recording births. Not that I was ever inclined to challenge a restriction which would have otherwise allowed Ben to video my private girl parts as they contorted into otherwise unrecognizable forms.

The examines went well and, as you can see, we were able to photograph the momentous occasion. After, we celebrated Mexican style and downed a liter of Coke.
