Living in Mexico

This is why we didn't bring our double-stroller to Mexico

Ben posted this video on Ben's Basement, however, I've decided to re-publish it here in the main feed, for all you above-terrain readers. I just wanted you to see why we sold our double-stroller before we moved to Mexico. I may, or may not, have mentioned it here before, but leaving our 'Brangelina' stroller behind left an empty place in my heart that only expensive, patent leather purses can fill. Or cash. I'm flexible.

This video was shot in Chile. However, the streets and sidewalks are similar to those in Mexico. Narrow, uneven and broken. Anyway, it's why we sold our double-stroller. Well that and we needed the fifty bucks for tequila. OH I'M KIDDING! We needed it for beer. Actually, we sold it because we were idiots. That's why. We thought the girls would be older and wouldn't need a double, or single, stroller when we returned to the States. Yeah, we were all kinds of wrong about that.

Now that we all agree I'm like Oprah, let me show you something which makes me feel very grateful...pictures of a home we rented while we lived in Mexico. ...Continue Reading »

Remember when we could go outside? Yeah, that was awesome.

Whenever I take off my boots in our foyer, I inevitably step, sock-footed, into a puddle of melted snow...just one more way winter has itself a good chuckle at my expense. ...Continue Reading »
