Back in high-school, I wore a dozen earrings and my hair was shaved off the back of my neck up to the tops of my ears. I dressed in mostly black tee-shirts, jeans and Dr. Martens spring, summer, winter, fall. Since lying out in the sun wearing combat boots wasn't all that appealing, I never tanned. At least not intentionally. In retrospect, my 'style' probably saved me from a lot of sun exposure.
I know most high-school girls have a full head of hair and want a dark tan, especially come summer. And I know lots of those girls will spend this summer rubbing baby oil over their young skin while sitting poolside soaking up UVA rays. This would be the perfect video for them to watch while passing the time baking in the sun.
This video was produced by The David Cornfield Melanoma Fund. [Spoiler alert: I think the woman at the end of the video is David Cornfield's wife.]
Big shout-out to my warrior friend Melody for bringing this video to my attention.
