My name is Meredith Groenevelt [aka @BuenoBabyGirl]. I began writing this blog after my husband and I, and our three daughters moved to Merida, Mexico.
This blog began as a way to document our adventure in Mexico, however, I found it quickly degenerated into a memoir of awkward situations and embarrassing moments. All gathered here, in one place, for your mocking pleasure.
I'm not a real writer, but play one on the Internet. However, I am a real web designer. I was formally trained as a print designer [back before the invention of electricity] and graduated with a graphic arts degree thirteen years ago. Afterward, I immediately began working in the design department for a Fortune 500 Company. Since then, I’ve worked as a graphic designer in a boutique ad agency, an apparel company and as a freelance web designer.
These days, I work from home, meaning, sometimes I brush my teeth and wear pants. Those are special days.
This is my high school sweet-heart and husband, Ben. He built this site and edits my posts. He also makes me cocktails. He’s a keeper.
These are our three girls: Whitney [5] Lexi [13] and Heidi [3].
