BuenoBaby’s first video post EVER! [unpacking]

I posted this back in January on the old BuenoBaby site. I'm A-M-A-Z-E-D at how much my little baby has grown since I took this video!

Secretly, I kind of like for her to stay in diapers a little bit longer if only because of the way her butt looks in leggings. Oh god quick, I've got to throw in another load of laundry, or fill another sippy-cup, or wipe another butt stat! Otherwise, three easily becomes four.

Anyway, you shouldn't watch this video is you have a propensity for achy ovaries:

We recently joined our local YMCA. The reasons for joining were many, but mainly Ben and I are trying to get back into shape, and we wanted a facility where the kids could run around and burn off some energy. The YMCA has a number of kids’ activity rooms with inordinately large, brightly colored play equipment, which the girls can climb up, leap off and crack open their heads. So how awesome is that?

Yesterday, after naps, the girls and I headed over there. This was our first visit to one of the three activity rooms and while the room was freshly cleaned…well, lets just say, be thankful this video doesn’t have smell.

The girls had a great time, and I sat and read old Oprah issues. It was all pleasant enough, and then this really exceptional thing happened in between the August and September issues. The thing was, I got this MOMENT on video. And it’s one of those moments in my life when, just for a snippet, I’m sure I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
