Ben’s mom designed and sewed these felt Christmas stockings.
I think they’re adorable, and I’ve been telling her she should sell similar stockings, but alas...
Anyway, she made one for Ben and his sister when they were born and another for me when Ben and I got married. Then Ben and I thought we'd find out what she was made of and went and had ourselves three kids just to see if she could keep up. And alas...

I adore these stockings! It is things like these that make me totally sad I don't celebrate Christmas. Such opportunity for creativity. BUT WHO HAS THE TIME???
You know what should make you happy you DON'T celebrate Christmas? CHRISTMAS CARDS, that's what!
Those are adorable! My mom is crafty like that too an made our stockings. They make a nice keepsake!
I know, we're lucky to have these!
I just bought four from Pottery Barn Kids, but your MIL's are waaaay cuter.
I will tell her. She will swoon:)
those are adorable! i'm filing them away in my "crafts i must attempt to copy, but probably won't ever so i'll just buy something similar from etsy" file.
and hello you just became INSTANTLY cooler to me. because why did i now just realize you have a daughter named alexandra? i'm alexanDRIA. maybe i already knew you had a same name kid, but never paid attention. probably cuz i was nursing a gin & tonic when i was reading.
i have major comment vomit on your blog all the time. you should probably block me.
Probably because she goes by Lexi. Try calling her Alexandra and she'll look at you like you just handed her a mop and bucket.
Also, you're vomit's good here.
i actually hate when people call me alexandria too.
I should probably mention that the missing bell on my stocking isn't so much a daughter-in-law kind of thing as it is a someone probably ate it kind of thing.
I have a family of six with no stockings. You know, if she's looking for a project.
Just as long as it doesn't interfere with the babysitting!
of course.
