We live on a one-way street, and to get to wherever we're going, we usually need to turn right at a busy intersection a few blocks down from our house. Of course, the light is usually red, and since we haven't figured out whether or not you may turn right on red, we usually sit and wait at the intersection for the light to turn green. I'm not sure if turning right on red in Mexico depends on the personal preference of the driver, or if the Mexicans themselves, aren't clear on the rules, because every other car turns right on red, and others don't.
I took this photo while waiting for the light to turn green. This mangy looking mutt hangs out on this roof every now and then. And when he is, we watch to see if he'll lift his leg up on that tall post.
