Frankly, this site has evolved into more than what I had originally intended it to be. Originally, I'd started this blog as a way to chronicle the time we lived in Mexico. I thought...oh how nice, a place where I can post photos of the beach and document that heat rash on my underarms. The Internet will be riveted!
And then we moved back here to Wisconsin, and I didn’t know who we were or where we were. Lately, I’ve been having a hard time falling asleep at night. I lie there and replay the last few years. My struggle with depression, the economy, the real estate market slipping through our fingers, letting it all go and moving to Mexico and then, and then...
What?
What will the girls remember?
How did this happen?
And then, and then...this.

We got out on my dad’s boat last week. It’s one of the perks...living here in Wisconsin, in my childhood home. It’s been a difficult few years for all of us, but I hope sunnier days are ahead. Hope for more of these kind of memories.

Beautiful picture... Life never seems to go the way think it will. I'm constantly amazed at some of the paths we've been led down and forced into. I'm definitely glad for where we are right NOW but I often wonder at how a small change in the past could have made a huge difference in my present...
Thanks Tracey. Yes, so true. The smallest nudge one way or another can result in huge swings. I keep a pretty tight grip on the wheel these days. And I'm always 10 AND 2...10 AND 2!
I'd definitely want to see more on "Momcast" where I found you. I love your relationship with your husband and that you moved to Mexico and as I am the third daughter, I am fond of anything about 3 girls.
Glad to have found you.
Glad you stopped by. I know you from Twitter Moms!
They'll remember playing on your Dad's boat, bouncing in the water, laughing in the sun.
Aw, thanks Dana.
