So we’ve reached that point when one day blends into another gray day...

...and even Mother Nature seems to have lost interest. By the looks of it, she sprinkled rice, instead of snowflakes, from the sky this past weekend. Look alive Mother Nature! It's a bad time to be unemployed; especially in the environmental sector.
Also, that bush you see, jammed-up into the bench, is actually our Christmas tree. The plan is to light it on fire in the backyard. We did this once when we were kids. My dad stuck the Christmas tree into the snow [so it stood upright] and then lit a match. I’m not even kidding, it was engulfed and burnt to a charcoal stump within minutes! As it turns out, regularly watering your Christmas tree not only keeps it’s branches perky and strong enough to hold the weight of a five pound dough ornament, but also lessens the chances your homeburning to it's foundation. It’s a win, win.
