Not too long ago I posted the new OK GO video "This Too Shall Pass." I love the video and have always been a fan of Rube Goldberg machines. In fact, I've always wanted to create one myself. You know, one of the classics that makes your coffee in the morning as it cooks your eggs, opens the blinds, starts the shower, shovels the snow........
Well, I've never attempted such a feat - quite simply because of the game Mouse Trap. If Milton Bradley couldn't create Mouse Trap to be consistently constructed by young children, who was I to think I could build a Rube Goldberg machine that would roll a bowling ball into a lampshade, to start the lawn mower, whose spinning blade would grind my coffee.
