I know, I can't tell if they're ugly or not either...
Lexi needs new shoes. Not only has she out grown her own shoes, but mine too. I can’t stretch my mind far enough to wrap it around that thought. However, my brain has been forced to do the sideways splits without the common courtesy of a warmup!
So last week, Lexi and I went shoe shopping, and I saw these. I thought they looked kind of weird, in a good way, so I bought them for myself. I don’t buy shoes often, and clearly my decision to purchase these may give a little insight as to why. The store manager had to be like, ‘What? We actually moved a pair of those elfin heels?’
Still, driving home, I day dreamed about all the cute outfits I’ll put together with my new shoes. But then, when we were finally home, I tried them on again and felt a little like an Oompa Loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That is a HOT OOMPA LOOMPA! I’m putting the sexy back into the Oompa Loompa BAY-BEE!

First of all, it was brought to my attention that I originally misspelled 'Oompa Loompa.' As if I give a shit. I mean THANK YOU. I've since corrected my heinous error. In fact I correctly spelled 'definitely' by accident the other day, which clearly points that the apocalypse is nearing. People who value acurate spelling shouldn't be reading this blog
Secondly, when did my ankles start aging?
Oompa Loompa's are from Willie Wanka and the Chocolate Factory not The Wizard of Oz. Damn it.
