Not shooting apple blossoms

Yesterday afternoon, we drove out to our friend's hobby-slash-art studio-farm to take some photos of the spring apple blossoms. I don't know what an apple blossom looks like, but I was assured by our friend that he would point us in the right direction. A friend tells you these things. Friends don't let friends take pictures of beaver holes when they're supposed to be shooting apple blossoms. That's for sure!

Anyway, we drive all the way out there. We are way out there. Actually, that's not true. There's a Subway and a Snap Fitness. And you can be damn sure that one more mini-mall goes up the whole town's going to insist on residential garbage pick-up.

O.K., right, way out there. So, we're way out there, and Ben changes lenses on the Nikon D-40, and he's jiggling this setting and that setting. And luckily, there was enough battery charge left for all that jostling, because there sure wasn't enough to take any photos!

I happened to bring out our Sony Cyber-shot. It's a decent little camera, but it's not like you're shoot apple blossoms with this camera. Whatever those are.
