Ben and I are taking a break from our regular routine today. And by ‘regular routine,’ I’m of course referring to sitting around all day in our pajamas scraping the bottom of sour cream containers clean with potato chips. Instead, we got up, took showers and drove an hour to attend an all day Drupal conference. Do you know what that is? Me either.
So far, Ben’s filled half a legal pad with notes while I’ve been updating my Twitter and Facebook feed. I mean, come on now, it’s not like my feeds are going to update themselves!
I’ve now sat in this lecture hall for the last three hours listening to presentations on Mollom, Php, and CCK; and I can definitively tell you the only thing I’ve learned so far is that no one here has noticed my cute shoes. I mentioned this to Ben, and he just rolled his eyes. LIKE IT DOESN’T MATTER! Well, sure it doesn’t matter Mr. Flip Flop guy who’s toes aren’t covered in blisters and moist bandaids.
On that note, I’ll be back here Monday with a new post. Ben will be attending the conference by himself tomorrow [I don’t know how they’ll manage to continue on without me!], and I’ll be home alone with the kids. So I’m counting on some kind of poop-tastrophe or something that I can write about for Monday. If you need me in the meantime, just follow the trail of fresh blood into the ladies room where I’ll be reapplying new bandaids.
